Lic. R.E. Salesperson in PA, taught 5th grade, St. Ambrose RCS, Phila.,PA, worked 2 banks (PSFS & Texas Commerce Bank), display ad composer for the Lehighton News, receptionist & order processor for Moore Bus. Forms, Honesdale, PA, sec. for husband and Nationwide Ins. Co., Mgr. for Abington Back Inst. and billing for Abington Orthopedics, retired as C.S.A. for Pitcarin Trust Company for 12 years. Internet business titled Home Inventory Specialists for 2 years. Volunteered as Room Mother and Den Mother for numerous sons' activities. Charter member of The Women's Resource Center in Honesdale, PA, serving abused women and children and manning a crisis hotline and starting a shelter. Charter member of Wayne County Memorial Hospital's Hospice. Public Speaker and fund raiser for both non-profits as well as volunteering in all capacities. After retiring Jim my husband and I became fulltime RVers traveling the country and volunteering at National Parks as camp hosts, e. g. Bryce Canyon Natl. Park and the Badlands. Also worked at Palm Creek Golf and RV Resort in guest services and the Pro Shoppe in exchange for a full-hook up site. Recently Jim and I celebrated our 50th Weddin Anniversary at Riverside Resort and Casino. I still enjoy reading, writing, fishing, water aerobics, singing and dancing. Living in Honesdale I acted with Center Stage Productions and have been in many choirs since leaving Cheltenham HS. I have created Hospice cards, ghost written a book for a minister and have several articles published. I just finished writing my autobiography titled SH-H-H . . . SECRETS CAN KILL!!

Most importantly Jim and I have bucked the odds and are still very much in love and enjoy everyday we share together. Each new day is a gift . . . The Present! I hope our 3 married sons and 12 grandchildren find as much happiness as Jim and I.

I worked in the school office and the school bank. I dressed appropriately for the time. I was also tall and developed for my age and when going into classrooms of sophomores and juniors, I would be mistaken for a substitute teacher.

Years later after attending St. Joseph's University, I became a 7th grade substitute teacher. Although I LOVE children, there isn't enough money in the world to get me to do that again for teenage students. :-)
