Kay was so talented -- I loved looking at her beautiful expressive face. There's a picture in the yearbook of Kay and Marli Schatz decorating a bulletin board, and I just love it. I can still hear her voice....
When I was helping gather class member whereabouts for the 1973 reunion, I visited Marlene at home and learned of her health issues. Did not realize then how serious those were. She was one of my favorite/loved and remembered classmates. From 6th grade. Kay Schart's desk next to mine and I got to see her fun creative doodles added to the class notes. Other f/l/remembered people, Happy to see Gwen Faust at recent reunion. Thought of intro day for Thomas Williams Wyncote-Glenside consolidation Gwen sitting on gym bleacher in front of me, turned to say "Hi, I'm Gwen what's your name" She called me Moorey for a while. Miss my lost yearbook with its special photo details. Earl is talking on a CHS hallway phone. And said "Speak up Donna, I can't hear you".
Kay and I ate lunch together with David Fertik and Lewis Bolno senior year. Every lunch was filled with humor and laughter. She had a plan for her life - acting. She was sweet and friendly and everyday lunch passed quickly. She was taken from us much too young. I will always remember Kay as a beautiful, talented woman.
