Steve was my best friend in 6th and 7th grade and remained a good friend thru HS. He lived right down the block. A bunch of us including Steve, his brother Dave, Earl Punchard and Doug Webb car pooled most of the time.From the end of football season until the beginning of baseball a bunch of the neighborhood guys played hoops in his driveway. I remember shoveling snow off the court several times so the games could go on. Steve is another guy that some type of mental/emotional problems caused to be lost way early. ----- George Trapp
Steve's passing was the real shocker. His house was a meeting place, be it cub scouts or just to hang out and shoot some hoops. We had gone from elementary school through high school together and then to Drexel University, were Fraternity brothers and remained friends after college. No one suspected there were any problems. Steve was a good friend.
