"Billy" Luvisi was a sweet, gentle soul. His childlike innocence was obvious to everyone. There was not a mean spirited bone in his body. He was easily embarrassed and would turn red and giggle. He was playful, loved humor and was not afraid to joke about his himself.
I met him the first day of seventh grade at E.P. Our lockers were five feet apart. We laughed about struggling to get our combinations right. We laughed a lot. He was a good, generous friend for over 30 years.
Billy was a bit "rebellious", loved to pass notes during class. He got hell from his parents for eating a hamburger one Friday. He borrowed his dad's car to drive to New Hope early one day but we (Margie Baum, Karen Nussick) drove to New York instead.
He loved Boston, graduated from Tufts, moved to San Francisco where he got a masters in early education. He ran a small pre-school.
