Earl and I lived close together and both played baseball at CHS. For a year we dated girls who were great friends so we double dated alot. He eventually married Gwen (Faust ). It was a shock to learn he had passed and I immediately felt badly for Gwen and their family.---- George Trapp
I was very saddened to hear that Earl Punchard had passed away. I grew up about a half a block from the Punchards and Earl and I played on the same little league teams for years. We were also in the cub scouts together. His mom and dad were great people also. His mom always gave us kids candy apples every halloween. I believe Joey Hagey lived next door to Earl-another class mate who left too soon. I was fortunate to have grown up knowing these kind of people.
