Joe and I ended up sharing many experiences in the Upper Moreland area. He continuously gave back to his family (wife Marilyn and two daughters), communiity (Upper Moreland Commissioner), and chosen profession (President, Hatboro Bank). Joe was always a calm, supportive leader. He was admired and loved by those of us who lived nearby (and, far away). After a life that was cut too short, but was so fruitful in so many ways, may he rest in peace.

I knew Joe Hagy best at Cheltenham Elementary and briefly at E.P. Jr. H. He was already demonstrating the same qualities of leadership and contribution that George Roesser reported in his memorial to Joey.     David Fertik
